Paranormal Investigators

A note on paranormal investigators. STOP! When you see shows on TV that showcase paranormal investigators, it may inspire you to get a tape recorder and a camcorder and go exploring. I would advise against it. Shows about these paranormal investigators showcase individuals going into places with reported paranormal activity. Usually these places are reputed to be haunted by ghosts, but there are a lot of things that seem ghostly but are not. There have been several times when these investigators have gotten in over their heads and have had to have their collective rear ends pulled out of the fire.
Most just go looking for ghosts, but even ghosts are not to be trifled with. Some of them can manifest life threatening dangers. If they go looking or happen to stumble upon something worse, they are pretty much screwed if they don't have someone looking out for them.
The human need for knowledge of the unknown has led to some great things, but it has also cost many lives. Some paranormal investigators do their research before they go in, and have a general idea of what they're dealing with, but most just hear some second or third hand ghost story and decide to go poking their noses into things that they really shouldn't.
So to all of the would be paranormal investigators out there. If you truly feel the need to explore the unknown, Take precautions! Even if you think that carrying salt is a bad idea, or you feel that science will overcome everything, don't overlook those who came before you. Get Holy Water. Carry Salt, (It disrupts manifestations of energies). Know the layout of where you are going, and definitely know how to get out of there in a hurry.
Finally, here is a very helpful tip for you: Carry a hammer. You never know when you're going to have to make a hole to escape through. Even though you go into a place through a door or window doesn't mean that the door or window will be accessible for escape, it also doesn't mean that you will even be able to open that door or window a second time.

Be careful
